I have always had a love of art. From the time I was young I enjoyed drawing. In school I would take art class electives as I found art was a great distraction where I didn’t feel judged as a person. As i got older and moved through school and college, I lost sight of the peace that art brought me but I continued to do every craft that came my way as I raised our 4 children.

In 2021 during covid I went through a very difficult season. Like many others our family was victim to Covid and we lost my mother. Along with everything else during that time I needed a safe place of refuge. A friend suggested drawing. And so it began.

I picked up the pencil and paintbrush and just began to find peace in the escape. As time went on I realized that my passion was once again ignited. I decided that I would spend more time on this journey and trust the learning process.

Never did I think I could be where I am now. I absolutely love what I do, especially when I get to see the joy it brings to others. I still do not know the full extent that this journey will take me on but I have a deep abiding faith that He knows and I trust him.
